Honeywell

Power. Our lives depend on it.

From everyday necessities like heating, cooling, refrigeration and lights, to daily essentials like cooking, laundry or kids’ bath times.  Power outages are occurring more frequently than ever and lasting longer with devastating effects.  Stand up to unpredictable weather and unforeseen outages with the most trusted name in residential standby power.  If the power ever goes out, your Honeywell standby generator goes on - automatically - protecting you and your home 24/7.

How does an automatic backup generator work?

The generator system is pretty simple.  The generator and transfer switch work together to monitor utility power 24/7.  You don’t need to be available to start the system in the event of an outage—it will start automatically.  And runs on the home’s existing natural gas or LP fuel supply.  The generator sits outside the home or business just like a central air conditioner while the transfer switch is located next to the main breaker box.

  1. Within seconds of sensing utility power is lost, the generator starts  to supply power.
  2. When the return of utility power is sensed, it automatically shuts down...
  3. ...and returns to standby mode, ready for the next outage.

Portable Generators

A Honeywell inverter easily travels to wherever power is needed.  Packing more power generation per pound than standard portable generators, they are super-quiet, lightweight and easy to move with the built-in handle.  Hosting a tailgate party or planning a camping trip?  Include your Honeywell inverter to power appliances, TVs, or laptops.  Then bring on the food, drink, and game highlights.
